  It sure is great to have local bank that knows how to work with small businesses! I have nothing, but good things to say about F&M’s San Clemente Branch. They are more than a bank, they are part of the community.

  Banker beware! Read their fees list before you open an account. What a joke their interest on checking is! I racked up over $80 in fees in less than a year, when I had a positive balance the entire time. My interest I earned was like 1.00. Come on, you'd have to have 100's of thousands in the bank to make any reasonable amount of interest at this rate. I think they should change their motto from strongest bank to "strong-armed" bank, because banking here really feels like extortion. In San Clemente, Chase is probably the best bank around, with low to zero fees, I recommend them instead. Did I mention they are bumbled nearly every issue I had to have dealt with too, inexcusable behavior for a bank, wasting a great deal of my time.
